Storing & Re-heating you Pie
Apple pie will be just fine on the counter, but only for a day or two, at which point it needs to go into the fridge where it will last up to 4 days.
To re-heat or warm up your Pie, the best way is in the oven which ensures a warm filling and a crispy crust. Place the pie on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment and cover loosely with foil to prevent the top from burning. The Pie usually takes 15–20 minutes, OR for a slice, set the oven to 375°F and bake for about six minutes.
To Freeze your Apple Pie, make sure it is sealed tight in an airtight container, put the airtight container in a large freezer bag to protect against freezer burn and will ensure the pie stays fresh. The pie will last up to six months in the freezer.
To Re-heat, defrost the pie at room temperature, and then reheat it in a 350 degree F oven for about 30-45 minutes.
